Best Practices for Hiring a Calligrapher
Our members have a range of skill sets and experience. Please understand that calligraphy and design are creative processes and require an adequate amount of time for planning and writing. Be sure that the text you provide the calligrapher is legible and exactly as you’d like it to appear. If you have multiples of an item such as envelopes or place cards, provide extras as a courtesy to the calligrapher.
Follow these tips to choose the right calligrapher for your project:
- visit different websites and view their portfolios
- inquire about their availability
- ask for samples
